Mainly a residential neighborhood in the central section Queens, NYC, Middle Village has mainly a singlefamily housing, small appartment buildings and with attached homes. It was settled back in 1816 by people of English descent and it was named Middle Village due to its location at midpoint between Williamsburg (Brooklyn) and Jamaica (Queens).
